Instrumental-Convergence

Instrumental-Convergence is an independent public archive documenting reports, research, and evidence relating to instrumental convergence and goal-directed behaviors in advanced AI systems. It is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Meta, Microsoft, or any other AI developer.

The site exists to be a credible, long-term historical record — not an AI-doom outlet. We draw a hard line between documented research, corroborated incidents, disputed interpretations, and speculation, and we label every report accordingly. See our methodology for details.

This build is a working prototype. See the project's DEPLOYMENT.md for what's mocked and what a production launch would still require.
